The most insightful thing ever (not)

Having a toddler is like having to take care of your best friend who is belligerently and/or obscenely drunk.

They both:
Have impulse control issues
May start crying at any moment
Speak incoherently
Are incredibly earnest
Are inclined towards random acts of intense affection
May have issues with peeing in an actual toilet
Want to eat random and sometimes disgusting combinations of food (cake off the living room floor? frozen
peas?)
They constantly assure you, "I can do it. I can."
The way they put on their socks and shoes...wow..it's painful.
Stairs are just a bad idea.
There is no such thing as a "bad time" for nudity.
The repeat themselves over..and over...and over..
Things that sparkle are always items of interest
May become enraged at any moment
There are no strangers, only BFFs.
If they are seen out meandering around the streets alone, it's a criminal offense.
Shouldn't drive.
You have to speak to them very slowly and make sure they understand exactly what you're saying.
Like to run through Target screaming.
Neither have any regard for the safety or health of themselves or most other people.
"Personal space" doesn't exist
Pools are such a bad idea.
They shouldn't be trusted with permanent markers
Sometimes, you just want to beat them until your arm falls off, then pick up your detached arm and beat them with it.
Give them an iPad, and you've bought yourself an hour of silence.

The End (for now).

YO

not an awesome picture of Chris. HA

the moolah she saved.

Kelley's receipt is taller than her son

The kids frolick

Yeah, so life has been pretty tame. Same old stuff. Eb got a pair of sparkly pink shoes from her Bella that she ADORES. She then got a pair of legwarmers from Kelley via a consignment sale. She has been wearing these two things NONSTOP since they came into her possession.
Oh, have I mentioned my new awesome hair?

It's pretty dang awesome, right? The above picture is courtesy of the ol' imac's photobooth. I had no idea it was so handy.
Anyway...not a lot going on around these parts. Hudson is rollin' out for the weekend and so I'm not entirely sure what eb and I will be doing. Hanging out, I guess. We'll probably see Frau Bella.

Yeah, I know this isn't wildly thrilling. EmmySuh suggested I do the 30 Day Meme she's going. I'm not sure what a "meme" is. In French, it means "the same". Around here, it means breastfeeding boobs.
I don't think either of these are appropriate for this situation.

You know and I AM excited about? GLEE starts again next week! Yaaaaaaay.

BEACH

Eb loves the beach.
I love Lauren Morris, my BFFAE.
Everyone was happy.

I suck at this.

I really don't feel like writing or posting pictures at the moment, so here are some little tidbits I've heard over the past week or so.

"It's like I bought a box of shit at a chocolate festival"-chris

"Oh, and your haircolor is sooo natural? That's the same color Rose Nyland used for YEARS."-kelley

"That goes together like peanut butter and nerve gas."-preacher dave

"He has tour-..uh...not tourism...tourette's! He has tourette's!"-mom

"That soup to TOO HOT. You will burn your tongue and have to go to the hospital burn unit for a WEEK!"- Kelley

"If you can't drink with your kids, who can you drink with?"-anonymous

"Juju is an angry drunk."-Annalise

"Jesus is slippery."-preacher dan

I promise I'll attempt to get crackin' on the posting of pictures and interesting stories.

Here's something awesome: Mom got an iTunes card and now we can rock out to everything Glee.
Yessss.

A goddess, I say!

Google "wolfspider"

Now imagine that on my bedroom floor.

Kelley got up, baby in arms, came to my room and killed the thing for me.
She is a goddess.

I'll write more when I'm not on my phone. It's a bit tricky to type this way.

Once again. This time with feeling.

Yesterday, Annalise and I loaded up an headed to see my mom AKA "Bella".
All the grandkids call my mother "Bella" and I thought of that name PRE-TWILIGHT.
God, I hate Twilight..why won't it just die already?

Sorry for that digression.

We were visiting with mom, I was doing some laundry, we watched the latest True Blood (omg..sookie and eric making out? What?!? Sookie chained in the basement? Oh, dear.)

Then we returned here for naptime (a solid two hours). Upon waking up, we went to the Galleria. I won't bore you with the minutiae of what  I did, but I will tell you that Annalise rode the carousel and had the time of her life. If I'd had more one dollar bills, I'd have set her up for multiple rides. Alas.
So, some pictures...

It was some good mommy-baby bonding time. And, of course, everyone stopped to tell me how adorable she is...which is always nice.

I am tired. I'll worry about being clever and witty later.
