Annalise was crazy today. She woke up at 4am and was WIDE awake. So, I tried nursing her to sleep, no dice. I eventually gave up and brought her downstairs. We played and talked until Trendon got home at 6am. He changed her diaper and carried her around while I made us both breakfast. FINALLY she was ready to nurse back to sleep. Tren and I watched "Sweet 16: Battle Royale" (it was ridiculous). Then she slept from 6:30-9:30am. Yay.
I took some cute pictures, of course. She loves being in just her diaper. Actually, if she had her way, she'd be completely naked all the time. Little freak.
We went to Target, she slept the whole time in the MobyWrap. We needed wipes (she gets the fancy Lansinoh ones, what can I say? $3.44 is worth no diaper rash. She's delicate.)
We also bought a scale so I could weigh myself. Can I just say HOLY FREAKING CRAP.
On the up side, Annalise weighs a whopping 15lbs. I got her an adorable onesie on the clearance rack at Target. It's blue, I don't think she has anything blue. I might have her wear it tomorrow...or Sunday. We were going to go out to eat tonight, but everywhere was so crowded. Personally, I'd like to go back to the Oyster Bar mid-week. There was no one there, the oysters were magical, and the booth was conducive to nursing. Tomorrow Tren has "Warrior Training" so it'll just be Annalizard and me at home. Afterwards he's heading to get the car worked on.
He got one of the best surprises ever tonight. He was talking with Annalise while she sat on his belly. She was just grinning being cute when all of a sudden she let out this full belly laugh. I don't know that he's ever heard her laugh. It was pretty fantastic. Hopefully she'll start laughing more often. She's only 3 1/2mos, so I'm not rushing her to hit those milestones and grow up just yet.
