So, I got an amazing red electric tea kettle on sale at Target (I LOVE me some Target.) Trendon set up a whole tea service for me beside my chair in the living room.

Isn't it magical? I love tea.
I really hope that Annalise wants to have tea parties when she's older. That is actually one of my fondest childhood memories, having tea parties. I would sit in my room and play. Sometimes I'd rope Colby into enjoying an afternoon of high tea, usually that didn't work out. Haha. Ever since I found out I was having a daughter I started fantasizing about sitting on a blanket in our living room. I would be drinking some sort of delicious herbal blend while Annalise sipped at her lemonade. We'd have a little plate of pretentious shortbread cookies to share. Ah. Bliss.
I think my fantasy may become a reality. Whenever I make a cup of tea I let Annalise smell the teabag. I know that sounds weird. But everything I've read says that babies learn with all 5 of their senses. What kind of a mother would I be if I ignored her sense of smell? Regardless, she rather enjoyed the Green Tea with Lemongrass and Spearmint. So cute.

For the most part, today was a lazy day.
We really didn't do much at all. We got an amazing IKEA catalogue in the mail. Blissful magic. I lusted over the organizational stuff for nearly an hour. We had Chinese food for dinner. Yum-o.
Now she's a sleepy Pete.
So I'm going to nurse that baby to sleep and drink my DELISH chai latte...which I took a picture of. (Pardon the grammatical error).

I love your blog so much! I also really love you guys and Annalizard! That is one sweet tea kettle, that is what Adam has been wanting. So, I finally got logged back into my blog so i'm completely fixing it up and going to start blogging on it! I'm excited!
