Whew! What a crazy couple of weeks. We had a magical time in Birmingham. AMAZING food, my insane and wonderful family...it was great. Of course, everyone adored Annalise (except my uncle Steve, but he's neurotic, so it's ok).
We had the greatest time at Judy's. Her basement is a whole finished apartment situation. It was ideal. Annalizard and I could nap out of the way. I didn't want to leave.
The plane rides were just fine. Annalise was a good baby like always.
For those who haven't heard, we're not going to Germany, we're off to D.C. in May. Very excited about living in a city once more. (I'm typing with my left hand and holding Annalise in my right, so pardon any typos.)
Since returning home, we've both gotten sick-ish. She has a runny nose (no fever, clear mucus). I've had a sore throat and low fever. LAME.
On the upside, my reupholstered ottoman is BEAUTIFUL houndstooth. (as seen below)
I'm glad your trip was good!! And I'm sorry hto hear you don't get to move to Europe.... but at least you'll still be in the same country as the rest of us!!
