Blogger FINALLY let me post

I've been trying to post and blog and/or pictures for DAYS.
Regardless, better late than never.
On Monday, Trendon and Annalise laid around while I got some work done. She's ok with him holding her as long as I am within her line of sight.

Annalise took some artsy photos.

She has mastered the art of flipping over and just won't stop.
Tuesday we went to Maggie Moo's (Tren's first time).
I had an amazing pomegranate smoothie and Tren got some huge ice cream cone with cinnamon ice cream and chocolate chips and a bunch of other things.
Since then, we've been hanging out at home. Hopefully, I'll remember to post a picture of a MAGICAL mirror I got at a thrift store. And I got a silver tea tray. Tren cleaned it and polished it until it was pretty again.

Today Tren got to come home early because, well, his class finished early. As for lunch/dinner (because you know how domestic I am, I want "my man" to be happy [insert vomiting sound here]) I was inspired by Judy, I put some meatballs and red sauce in the slow cooker. When he got home for lunch, we had meatball subs (yum-o) and for dinner we're having spaghetti. Speaking of Judy, her beautiful eyebrows still haunt me. Haha.

Some interesting things I've learned lately, some by my own discovery and some from reading.
1) If you put a tsp of oil (olive, vegetable, etc) in the water when you boil eggs, it makes them very easy to peel.
2) The best way to slice thin strips of cheese (ex: mozzarella for meatball subs) is with a vegetable peeler. Perfect long, thin strips for a sub. I also do this when making at home pizzas or filling a pita.

...that's all I'll write about that for now. The rest I will save for my book.

Right now we're watching a Swedish vampire movie "Let the Right One In." If you have Netflix, I suggest you add it.
I hope this weekend will be productive. Yesterday it was 90 freaking degrees. Today the high was 70, so it's hard to make any plans.
We're hoping against all hope that my brother, Chris, gets the IBM job in D.C. I would be BLISSFUL if we all lived there at the same time.

Nathan, I meant to tell you, Tren's game is called Oblivion. It looks like fable, but with more things.
