Woo-hoo

It's been an eventful day. I "manned up" and killed a bug today all by myself. I was tempted to wait for Trendon to get home, but Annalise really needed to nurse and the dang wasp was flying all over the place.

I took a picture of it to prove my courage...but my camera has too many megapixels and it's just really gruesome detail. Bleh. 

But it shows how cute Annalise is. 

Anyway, it was blistering hot today. Really miserable. Ok, so it was like 98 degrees and last summer we had over 30 days straight of over 100 degree temps, but still. Very miserable.

Let's see...what else....Katana and Miso have fleas. So I had to hold them down and put medicine on them today.

Annalise took an amazing nap this afternoon. She slept from 1:15pm-4:25pm. It was bliss. Of course, if I try to get up after nursing her sleep, she wakes up and freaks out. Oh well, I just read my book (such a hard life).

She enjoyed the rest of her pears today. Big fan of those. Tomorrow we try mango. Yipee.

We watched Seven Pounds with Will Smith in it tonight. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was a fairly good movie, it just dragged on and there were some really strange inconsistencies. Also, NATHAN, if you haven't seen it...maybe don't...it has your worst nightmare as the conclusion...he kills himself by getting in a bathtub with a dang box jellyfish. Ahhhhh.

Regardless, I also rotted my brain with an LMN movie called "Hush Little Baby" I actually haven't finished it, it's still on the DVR. Basically the woman thinks her newborn daughter is evil...and it really seems like she is. HOWEVER the people at LMN need to get with the program. A newborn's carseat has to face backwards and you can't put the baby in the carseat while swaddled. Wtf, mate?

Time for the baby to get to sleep. With any luck, tomorrow will go well. I have an appointment with my rheumatologist at 1:45pm...right smack in the middle of Annalise's nap time. Ahhhh.
