Mother's Day was wonderful. Tren usually gets me a funny or irreverent card on special occasions, this time it was a sweet one. Annalise picked out a book for me, Tren gave me BEAUTIFUL sunglasses and set up appointments for massages every Friday until we move. Amazing. Annalise and Trendon may have gotten presents, too. I can't
help it. I would rather buy them stuff than get things myself. (I'm turning into my mother haha). Tren got a pool. He'll say it's for Annalise, but why would she need one that's 8.5 X 5.5 ft? Exactly. It was on sale at the PX so I gave in. 20 dollars for afternoons of fun, sounds like a deal to me.
I feel bad for the guy. Wearing 90lbs of gear in 100 degree weather all day? He deserves a pool.
Annalise got a book and a ladybug beach towel. She also inherited my sock monkey, Fred.

In other news, my friends and I used to play this game where we'd think of the strangest combination of 3 things you could get at Wal-M
art to freak out the cashier. Well, last night we may have won hands down: a clear plastic tarp, a machete, and apple-banana Gerber juice. The cashier was like...whoaaa ok.
haha. The tarp is for the pool, the machete for the bush growing outside our back door which is housing several evil creatures, and the juice is for Annalise's oatmeal. And tren put on one of her size 3mos onesies.
All of those things in fact sound like a wonderful mother's day! And yeah, you might have won our 3 random Wal-Mart things game...that's a pretty good combination. Mother's Day was delightful, I'm glad you enjoyed!
