Someone woke up laughing and playing at 3am...it was neither Trendon nor myself. Regardless, I'll take this time to write a blog.
This weekend was full of craziness. For one, I had my scariest brush with wildlife yet. I was unpacking groceries, mainly bananas (I had to make several pans of banana pudding for Tren's cookout at work) when something substantial plopped down on my hand

. I looked down and found a TARANTULA sitting there. I screamed and it fell to my foot. I screamed again and then hopped/ran away. Tren thought I had dropped a knife on my foot and was bleeding to death. Nope, just a freaking tarantula, chilling in the bananas. GOD. It was awful. BTW, I am not exaggerating. It was an actual tarantula. We have them here in Texas and I hoped to never see one. Alas, it was not meant to be.
On the upside, my banana pudding turned
out really well. Annalise has had some
interesting foods over the past couple of days. Mango remains her favorite. She tried baby oatmeal and loved it. I made it with apple banana juice (since you need Vitamin C to absorb iron, it just made sense). She also had some pureed chicken. Loved it.
That video was great! Def. liked at the end when she was like yes in fact I want to roll right now! Great family video!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything else went great this weekend, and no more tarantulas ever again!
Tarantula!? OMG! I'm pretty sure I would have had the same reaction! That's crazy!
