Annalise the tourist and a sink bath after a "cookie"

Today we went to the National Gallery of Art (I LOVE the bazillions of free amazing things there are to do here).
We were in there for a couple of hours, and really, we only saw the West Building, next time we see the East Building. Woo-hoo.
As someone who is INCREDIBLY non-religious, I love religious art. In fact, it's my favorite. Then again, I am a history nerd so...yeah.
Regardless, I had Annalise in the sling just a nursing away when I found these amazing 13th and 14th century paintings of Mary nursing Jesus.
Actually, I love the second one because it looks like Jesus is harassing Mary for her milk. (Which Annalise does all the time.)

Annalise ended up passing out for a 20 minute nap in the museum.

We took the metro and the picture below is of us on the escalator to the trains. I don't know that you can really tell how far down it is. It's pretty scary the first time down.
