We went to the National Aquarium yesterday. I don't know that it was worth the $12, but whatever, it happened. It was in the lower level of the Department of Commerce. FILLED with very rude tourists. It wasn't much of an aquarium. There were maybe...30 tanks of American aquatic creatures. I don't know what I was expecting. The only aquariums I've ever been to were Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN. (Both rocked).Anyway, it was a very fun day. We had lunch at Cosi, a flatbread sandwich place. I had the roasted turkey and brie, Tren had the shrimp remoulade, and Annalise had a fruit cup.
Actually, the highlight of the day was the giant Border's bookstore we went into to cool off. Annalise raked in from the clearance section. I got her several books for a dollar a piece. Suh-weet.
So went we got home it was naptime. Annalise had a biter biscuit and then needed a bath. I always give her a mohawk after her bath (big surprise, huh?).
Today, Mr. Bingley has a vet appt to get some shots.
And a sidenote, yesterday I wore a pair of my pre-pregnancy pants. Woo-hoo!
I know I say this every time, but seriously, she it TOO adorable. I miss you all. I'm glad you're settling in nicely!
