Halloween

Annalise enjoyed her Halloween.

She didn't get any candy, reasonable seeing as how she is only 1; but she did get a puzzle (I LOVE Melissa & Doug toys).

She was, of course, a ladybug. I was a kitty (ears and mask obtained from the children's section at IKEA).

It rained here, so we only had one set of trick-or-treaters. Trendon was happy because now he gets to eat the bucket of candy. We went to Border's downtown today to redeem my giftcard. I got YET ANOTHER Juliet Marillier book and one about the Old Religion.

Now Trendon is getting some rice cooking. I'm making red beans and rice for dinner. I still don't know how to work the rice cooker. It's on it's last leg, anyway. We'll be getting a new one around Christmas, I'm willing to bet. I'll read the directions that come with the new one.

  2. Ahh, her outfit was wonderful. I'm glad you still had a good time! I'm sorry to hear about the rice cooker, but it has been a faithful one and I'm sure you will recieve one for Christmas if not more than one! Love you guys!
